• This is our flagship annual race inaugurated in 22 November 2008, with 5km and 10km events.
  • In 2013 we decided to add 21.1km so as to grow our field participation.
  • Participation has grown from strength to strength and now we can boldly say a combined field of 400+ athletes participated in 2013
  • Our biggest challenge have been always been Sponsorship as club members personally contribute finances for Race T-shits and Prizes to make this race a success
  • Given the fact that our Transkei region is disadvantaged in professional organised races, in year 2022 we are launching a full marathon  (42,2km) hosted under our banner as Cheetahs Athletic Club, this will help long distance athletes in qualifying for both Comrades Ultra Marathon and Two Oceans Ultra Marathon
